4th of July Fireworks & Other Events Green Bay WI

Father’s Day is this coming weekend, which means we’re only a couple of weeks away from one of the biggest parties of the year – the 4th of July! Independence Day falls on a Thursday this year, but don’t let that put a damper on your celebration. There are plenty of fireworks & other events here in the Green Bay WI area for you to hit up and celebrate our nation’s birthday.

Festival Foods’ Fire Over the Fox

One of the biggest celebrations each year right here in Green Bay is the Festival Foods’ Fire Over the Fox event. A full-day party filled with music, entertainment, veteran salutes, food, beverages, children’s activities and even a Fox River ski show, the festivities will be covered both by Local 5 WFRV and 101.1 WIXX. The celebration kicks off at 1:00 p.m. downtown, where you’ll be able to find plenty of stuff to do and places from which to watch the fireworks.

Fireworks Cruise on the River Tyme

If you want to do something a little different to celebrate this year, head over to Ennis Inn at 101 James St in De Pere for their Fireworks Cruise on the River Tyme. Kicking off at 7:30 p.m., you’ll be able to enjoy a 45-minute cruise on the River Tyme where you’ll then anchor and enjoy the Green Bay fireworks show up above before once again enjoying a 45-minute cruise back. The trek will include a taco bar and ice cream, what more could you ask for?

If you don’t feel like attending the downtown fireworks show in Green Bay again this year, there are plenty of cities throughout the Fox Valley and beyond that you can check out. Appleton, Oshkosh and of course Milwaukee will all have their own fireworks shows and events, as will a host of other cities to be sure. Whatever you decide to do, we just hope you enjoy the holiday!
